Essential Oils for the Humidifier

7 drops tea tree oil
3 drops lavender oil

Love Potion #9 Perfume Blend

10 drops rose essential oil
7 drops patchouli
7 drops sandalwood
3 drops ylang ylang
2 drops neroli
1 drop helichrysum
1 drop coriander
1 drop benzoin (diluted in alcohol)

Combine all essential oils in dark glass bottle and allow to marry for several days before using. As with all perfume blends, it should not be used undiluted on the skin. Add this blend to 1 teaspoon of jojoba to make a perfume, 2 teaspoons of pure grain alcohol (not rubbing alcohol) to make a cologne, or 3 tablespoons of distilled water and 1 teaspoon of pure grain alcohol to make a body splash.

Queen Bee Bath

3 tablespoons honey
3 drops rose essential oil
2 drops vanilla essential oil

Add essential oils to honey and mix well, then add the mixture to (not too hot) running water to treat yourself to a sensual and nourishing bath fit for a queen.

Rheumatic Pain Massage Oil

10 drops rosemary
10 drops chamomile
5 drops juniper
5 drops marjoram
2 drops clove
3 ounces jojoba oil

Blend essential oils together is a dark air tight glass container, and allow them to marry for several days before adding the jojoba oil.

Earache Remedy

1 teaspoon olive oil
5 drops tea tree oil
eyedropper and cotton balls

Warm olive oil in glass dish in microwave (use caution, it should be very warm but not burning hot), then add tea tree oil. Tilt head to one side and insert a couple drops of the oil into effected ear and follow up with a piece of cotton ball. If you need to treat both ears, wait 5-10 minutes before treatment.

This remedy is safe for babies and small children, but use one drop of olive oil/tea tree mix on infants.

Never insert tea tree oil into your ear UNDILUTED.

Exotic and Romantic Diffuser Blend

10 drops sandalwood
5 drops lavender

2 drops ylang ylang
1 drop myrrh

Blend all essential oils in dark glass airtight container and allow to marry for several days. A truly exotic and romantic blend!!

Tea Tree Hand Soap

Because this hand soap includes tea tree essential oil, it is a natural hygienic hand disinfectant.

1 cup liquid castille soap
1 tablespoon liquid vegetable glycerin
EO Blend as follows: 10 drops tea tree, 10 drops peppermint, 5 drops lavender

Prepare EO blend and allow it to marry for several days. Then combine all ingredients in a pump bottle and shake well. Shake well before using.

Sensitive Skin Toner

6 tablespoons rosewater
2 tablespoons vegetable glycerin
2 tablespoons honey
EO Blend: 5 drops each of chamomile, rosewood, and geranium

Prepare EO blend and allow it to marry for several days. Then combine all ingredients in a dark bottle and shake well. Shake well before using.

Sweet Dreams Pillow Spray

1 cup distilled water
6 drops lavender
3 drops chamomile
2 drops orange
2 drops ylang ylang

Combine all ingredients in a spray bottle. Shake well and use as a spritz on pillows and other bedding to encourage a restful night’s sleep.

Dry Skin Face Scrub

1 tablespoon ground almonds
1 tablespoon ground oatmeal
EO Blend: 10 drops palmarosa, 10 drops sandalwood, 5 drops carrot seed

Grind almonds in a blender or with a mortar and pestle, add oatmeal and grind some more. Place almonds and oatmeal in glass bowl and add EO blend, mixing into a fine paste.

Use paste to clean skin (avoid eye area), and rinse well. Then follow up with a facial toner and facial oil.
